Clifton Gardens, Mosman

Built in 1907, this stately home was renovated to update both the interiors and exterior. Colloborating closely with the interior designer, Studio Gorman and the client, the Arthouse Projects team created a home that complements the existing landscape, maximises views and natural light, and respects the home’s history. The resulting design is a simple, rectangular form with strategically placed windows and clerestory lights that flood the interior with natural light.

The attention to detail is evident throughout, with natural materials such as timber, stone, and concrete used to create a warm and textured space. The home is both beautiful and functional, with a seamless layout and sustainable features like solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system. This home is a testament to good design, transforming the site while honoring its history and contributing to the surrounding neighborhood.
